Static QR Code

A QR code with a hardcoded destination — not editable after printing.

In a static QR code the destination URL is encoded directly into the code's pattern. Anyone who scans it is sent to the fixed address — no detour through a short link.

Advantage: works without any backend service. Disadvantages: you cannot change the destination without reprinting the code, and you get zero scan analytics.

Static QR codes are fine for evergreen, low-stakes links (e.g., a coffee shop's homepage). For every marketing campaign with a window or expiration date, use dynamic instead.
